Republican House Minority Whip Representative Steve Scalise of Louisiana stated at the time that Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democratic California Representative Adam Schiff were the ringleaders of an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump “in secret and behind closed doors.”
“I think that Speaker Pelosi’s strategy is to try to hide in secret a lot of the information, drip out things that are selective for them in many cases that turn out to be inaccurate,” the Republican said while appearing on “America’s Newsroom.”
Scalise’s remark came after Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer physically walked out of a meeting with Donald Trump. (The meeting was on Trump’s policy in Syria.)
The Authoritarian … err, Democrat contingent reportedly left after the President called Nancy Pelosi a “third-rate politician.”
If you ask me, the whole thing was staged by the Democrats, as their play this whole time has been to obstruct, project, lie, cheat, steal, and grab as much power while trying to overturn the will of the voters in the last election.
“It was a constructive meeting after Pelosi stormed out,” Scalise jabbed back.
Fox News reported:
Host Bill Hemmer asked Scalise about the state of Trump and Pelosi’s relationship.
Scalise responded, “It’s not good,” and added that Pelosi is trying to impeach Trump without evidence.
Scalise went on to accuse House Democrats of using impeachment, rather than the 2020 election, to get Trump out of office.
“That’s not why we have impeachment. … It’s high crimes and misdemeanors, that’s the standard. They haven’t shown those high crimes but they want to impeach him anyway behind closed doors,” Scalise said.
Trump mocked Pelosi after the meeting, tweeting a photo of her in what he called an “unhinged meltdown.” For her part, Pelosi liked the optics of the moment, proudly displaying the picture on her Twitter profile
Trump has come under fire from House Democrats over his July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in which he urged Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter’s business dealings in the country. Democrats have accused Trump of attempting to set up a quid pro quo using military aid to Ukraine as leverage, though Trump has denied the accusation.
I would be lying if I told you I knew how this was going to play out, but here is how I see it:
I just do not think that Trump would be dumb enough to commit a crime, in front of all his enemies in the intelligence community, the day after being cleared by Mueller. It just does not stand up to reason, Trump knows that he can not trust anyone, period, full stop.
So the only rational explanation, as I see it, is that Trump was using Ukraine as a trap. We are starting to learn that the Ukraine was seemingly a hub for the dirty dealings of not only Biden, but many others members of the swamp too. It has been reported that members of John Kerry’s family benefited, as well as advisors to Mitt Romney, and the list goes on.
I believe Trump set this trap, knowing the Dems would jump at it, and in doing so, put their own necks in the (metaphorical) noose. Whether or not this was Trump’s plan, the course of events has already resulted in, what sure seems to be, the end of Biden’s hopes of becoming the Democratic nominee.
Only time will tell how this will shake out, but I do know one thing. I have doubted President Trump a few times in his term, and within days I wound up wrong, and Trump ended up having a long game he was paying.
The only area that Trump has thus far let us down, IMHO, is when it comes to keeping the social media companies in check. 90% or so of his base has been wiped out, and still nothing has been done, that I am aware of.
President Trump, shoot me a text, I have all the evidence you would ever need to bring F-c0B00k to justice. I have gigabytes of evidence (backed up a dozen times over and stored in a myriad of places, all offline. I am also part of a team of the foremost experts on the subject and we are ready for battle. All we need is to be called into action. You know how to reach me.
