Opinion – I’m constantly dismayed by how uninformed and/or misinformed most Americans are about the facts surrounding the Russia-Trump collusion investigation.
The extent of the conspiracy that multiple intelligence agencies inside of government engaged in, with the full knowledge of the Obama White House, if not direct guidance from Obama himself, to first destroy the candidacy of, and then after his election, the presidency of Donald Trump is indeed mind boggling.
But let’s examine what is already known about the plot to destroy the political aspirations of now-President Trump and why a ten-part miniseries might not provide enough time to explain it all to the American people:
- It is likely the plot was hatched (around the time that Donald Trump first announced his candidacy in 2015) under the guidance of discredited CIA Director John Brennan in cooperation with GCHQ head Robert Hannigan and the Five Eyes intelligence sharing network. This is all explained in the links we have provided.
Brennan waited for British intelligence to develop (fabricate?) just enough raw, unverified evidence, and then briefed the Gang of Eight and passed the fraudulent case off to the FBI.
What would be Britain’s motivation for undertaking a clandestine operation to make sure Donald Trump was never elected? Two tweets by then-candidate Trump explains:
A new terror warning was issued for European cties. At what point do we say we have had enough and get really tough and smart. Weak leaders!

Many people are equating BREXIT, and what is going on in Great Britain, with what is happening in the U.S. People want their country back!

Keep in mind that Christopher Steele, the author of the unverified predicate evidence used to obtain surveillance permission on the Trump campaign team, has consistently been referred to as a “former” MI6 agent. Perhaps the term former has been attached to mislead us.
Regardless, the motive for the Obama administration to weaponize the intelligence agencies that were under its control has been staring us in the face all of this time..
The unprecedented manner in which former President Obama, and former high ranking members of his administration have worked to undo or circumvent President Trump’s domestic and foreign policy initiatives since the election only bolster this suspicion.
- Fired-FBI Director James Comey ran with it from there. Under Comey’s watch an expansive network developed intent on bringing down Donald Trump.
As the graphic illustrates, the “Insurance Policy” against a Trump presidency involved more than just a rogue agent (Peter Strzok) and an FBI attorney (Lisa Page).
This should’ve been obvious to everyone from the outset. Forget the incriminating text messages between the two, Strzok would’ve never been able to get away with tanking the Hillary email investigation without Comey’s complicity.
And why would Comey, despite reams of evidence proving Clinton’s criminal liability, not have passed a criminal referral to then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch to let her make the decision whether or not to indict?
Frankly, why would Loretta Lynch, having heard Comey lay out the case against Hillary Clinton, before he exonerated her, not have seized control of evidence to present to a grand jury if she were on the up and up?
This, after all, is established operating procedure between the investigative agency (FBI) and the agency (DOJ) that handles the decision whether to prosecute or not.
But there remains a large number of Americans apparently living under a hypnotic spell cast by former President Obama and wannabe Hillary Clinton, and the constant drumbeat from the mainstream statist media, who argue that this is all just a conspiracy theory and that given enough time evidence of the Tooth Fairy will found to be hiding evidence proving Donald Trump is Putin’s puppet.
Already, while those Obama-Hillary sycophants cling to their hopes, many top level officials – holdovers from the Obama administration – at the FBI and DOJ have been removed. Those are the small fish, the pawns if you will.
Now, the fears of the bigger fish that their time in the barrel is coming are increasingly likely to be realized.
It is widely expected that President Trump is about to declassify documents that will prove the intelligence community’s plot to stage a coup d’etat against his presidency. This release is a near certainty and is expected this week.
Also this past weekend, Congressman Devin Nunes, Chairman of the House Permanent Special Committee on Intelligence let it be known that he’s about to release the transcripts of 70 interviews given to his committee by many of the co-conspirators within the DOJ, FBI and within the Obama administration. All of this suggests that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s head will be the next to roll. Why? Because Rosenstein took over management of the attempted coup following Comey’s ouster by President Trump.
And, then Rosenstein took the attempted coup to another level with the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller.
Rosenstein’s decision to appoint a special counsel was unprecedented and illegal for two reasons.
First, collusion with a foreign government is a counterespionage matter and not within the purview of a special counsel who has neither the authority nor the resources to conduct such an undertaking.
Second, special counsels are only authorized to investigate criminal behavior of which there was no evidence to justify his appointment.
We learned yesterday from Fox News’ Catherine Herridge and Cyd Upson that:
More than nine months after the FBI opened its highly classified counterintelligence investigation into alleged coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia, FBI lawyer Lisa Page said investigators still could not say whether there was collusion, according to a transcript of Page’s recent closed-door deposition reviewed by Fox News.
“I think this represents that even as far as May 2017, we still couldn’t answer the question,” Page said.
So, there was no there, there but Rod Rosenstein, ostensibly running the Department of Justice following Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ recusal in the Russia matter, fully aware of this and still made the appointment of a special counsel.
It gets stickier for Rosenstein.
It was Rosenstein who wrote a memo to AG Sessions on May 9, 2017 recommending that Comey be fired. The memo was passed to President Trump who promptly fired Comey.
Eight days later Rosenstein hired Robert Mueller as special counsel without cause. Not only was there no evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia (outside the purview of the special counsel’s powers), but the ensuing charge of obstruction of justice was completely unfounded as well.
Unless, of course, Rosenstein was party to obstruction for making the firing recommendation.
For a case to be brought on obstruction of justice charges in the firing of Comey, Rosenstein would’ve necessarily been a material witness for the President based on his prior memo citing all of Comey’s wrongdoings.
He can’t be both the person advising POTUS to fire a corrupt employee and the prosecutor of the case against the firing of that employee.
Also remember, Rosenstein authorized the final FISA application in the second half of 2017 with full knowledge that no legitimate predicate existed for its issuance. When Trump declassifies the application Rosenstein’s complicity in the coup attempt will be exposed.
- Rosenstein recommended firing Comey
- Rosenstein then appointed a special counsel absent underlying predicate to do so based solely on the basis that the firing of Comey represented obstruction of justice.
- Rosenstein gave the special counsel broad investigative authority to find something with which to incriminate Trump.
- Rosenstein, and/or his subordinates, continued the practice of leaking to the media in violation of longstanding policy to protect the innocent until guilt has been established.
This is not the manner in which a responsible prosecutor operates. At least not in the United States where we have Fourth and Fifth Amendment amendment protections.
Rosenstein did more than just stand by while the mainstream media convicted President Trump, he, along with others, orchestrated this despicable plot.
Now, he awaits his day of reckoning.
